1 Repairs
1.1 Do you repair cameras?
We repair cameras, lenses and other gear that are less than 10 years old, anything 10 years or older there are NO parts available.
We have used cameras, bodies, and lenses available that have been tested by our in-house techs. It may be more economically responsible to purchase something new or used regarding older equipment.
1.2 Do you repair film cameras?
Our staff has knowledge mostly on 35mm cameras and will gladly help how we can, or direct you to where you should go if we cannot fix your problem. Many of these vintage cameras tend to fall apart when trying to do an internal repair. We do not have a tech that specializes in film cameras.
1.3 How much does a repair cost?
We must physically see the camera in person in order to do a diagnostic. We cannot give estimates over the phone, however we do offer free estimates in store!

1.4 How long will my repair take?
Timing depends on if we have the parts available or if we have to order them. We are at the mercy of the postal service if we have to order parts.
Our main business is warranties and repairs, we get cameras in from around the nation. There may be other repair orders in front of yours that will affect time as well.
If you need a service rushed, there will be an extra charge.
1.5 Who does the repairs?
We have in-house techs that do our repairs! We will notify you if your gear needs to be sent to the manufacturer for any reason.
1.6 What is the process?
- Bring your gear into the store for our staff to take a look at the issue. We will advise how to proceed based on the issue. The decision is entirely up to you.
- Any accessories not needed for the repair will be taken off/out of the gear and given to you.
- We take in your information and the issue to put the work order into our system. You will get a copy of the same information that will be given to the techs.
- Our techs will examine and diagnose your equipment.
- We will give you a call letting you know the cost for a full repair. We do not do partial repairs.
- You let us know how you like to proceed- yes or no to the repair. If you missed our call please call us back.
- We will notify you when the repair is complete and ready for pick up. You may come and pick up your gear if repair is refused.
We will go over this in store with you as well.
2 Film
2.1 Do you process film?
Yes! We process color film for half-frame, 35mm, and 120mm. Your scans will be emailed to you and we will notify you when we have your negatives. That's right, you get to keep your negatives!
We do not process black and while film, unless it is Ilford XP2 that can go through the C-41 processing.
2.2 Will my film photos be printed?
Any prints will be an additional cost, however you have the freedom to choose your photos and the size you want! Place any orders through MackCameraPrints.com and keep an eye our for any discounts. Prints start at $0.39 for 4x6.
We will print all photos if requested with the additional cost.
2.3 Can you process dispoable cameras?
Absolutely! They will be developed just like our other 35mm rolls. We will give you negatives back on these as well.
2.4 What rolls of film are available in store?
We stock 35mm film. Our most common brands are Kodak, Ilford, and Fujifilm. Please look at our Film Rolls section of our website to see our most updated selection.
